SciMAT has been developed using Java as programing language, so it run in the majority of the Operative System (Windows, Linux, MacOS, etc.) and plataforms. To run SciMAT, version 8 of Java has to be installed in the system. If you do not have Java installed or you have an early version, you can freely download it from www.java.com.

To run SciMAT v1.1.06, unpack this zip file and execute the SciMAT jar file.

Also, we provide specific exectuable version for Windows and Mac. To run this, just unpack one of the following files, and then double click on .app (osX) or .exe (Windows)

Furthermore, the SciMAT source code can be downloaded, and modified according to the GPLv3 license.
