dyslexic_12_4 dataset 1: Description. Dyslexia can be defined as a learning disability in people with normal intellectual coefficient, and without further physical or psychological problems that can explain such disability. This dataset contains 12 medical indicators/attributes (mainly intended to detect whether reading, writing and calculus skills are at the proper rate) of 65 schoolchildren with ages between 6 and 8, of Asturias (Spain), where this disorder is not rare. It has been estimated that between 4% and 5% of these schoolchildren have dyslexia. All schoolchildren at Asturias are routinely examined by a psychologist that can diagnose dyslexia. The present dataset contains vague data in both input and output variables. The output variable is a subset of the 4 labels that follow: - No dyslexic. - Control and revision. - Dyslexic. - Inattention, hyperactivity or other problems. 2: Type. Low quality 3: Origin.
